Layer all the diced vegetables in a large and deep pot: onions, tomatoes, and bell peppers. Then, add spaghetti on top and sprinkle with salt and black pepper. It might seem like a strange method, right? Let’s continue and see!
Add two tablespoons of tomato paste to the spaghetti and pour hot water over the ingredients. Place the pot on the heat and stir the ingredients together for about two minutes until they are almost cooked. Make sure to add hot water whenever needed to adjust the consistency.
Once you notice that the water has been absorbed and the spaghetti is almost cooked, add four tablespoons of tomato paste and give it a good stir. Then, turn off the heat.
While it’s still hot, scoop into plates and sprinkle grated Romano cheese on top. Enjoy your meal.
